"The Torch," Athens Drive High School Yearbook Spreads
Showcase of the spreads I created during my time on the Yearbook Staff at my high school

"As of Late" 2024 - The Torch, Vol. 46
As editor of the 2024 edition of The Torch, As of Late, I led the creation of a yearbook that captured a school year defined by change. With a new principal, an influx of teachers, and the rise of new clubs, we designed the book to act as an “update” on these shifts. Blending bold yet soft 70s-inspired graphics, shapes, and colors with a news-like aesthetic, I worked to ensure every page reflected the school’s evolving story. Through thoughtful storytelling and dynamic visuals, As of Late documented a school in motion, balancing nostalgia with the excitement of a new era.

"Now You See Me" 2023 - The Torch, Vol. 45
As a part of the leadership team of the 2023 edition of The Torch, Now You See Me, I helped craft a yearbook that shed light on the often-overlooked people, clubs, and spaces within our school. With a design that embraced bold colors, dotted textures, and cutout elements, we broke traditional yearbook rules to create something unexpected and engaging. By pushing creative boundaries, Now You See Me not only captured the hidden stories of our community but also earned national recognition for its innovative approach.

"Define Your..." 2022 - The Torch, Vol. 44
As a staff member for the 2022 edition of The Torch, Define Your…, I helped create a yearbook that highlighted the key features of our school community. Using our school colors, blue and orange, we maintained a consistent design across the entire book, incorporating icons to add visual clarity. By focusing on students, staff, clubs, and activities, Define Your… captured the essential elements that defined our year, creating a cohesive and vibrant snapshot of the school community.
Goldfish App
This is an app mock-up design that I created in a recent class
Introducing Goldfish—an app designed to help high school students improve their attention span and break free from social media distractions. After noticing that my peers were frequently getting distracted by our phones in class, I saw a clear need for a solution. Through research and testing, I discovered that distractions caused spikes in heart rate, varying depending on the nature of the distraction. Goldfish tracks your heart rate while you focus, rewarding you for maintaining attention and providing a fun, effective way to stay engaged in your work. This app empowers students to regain their focus and boost their productivity in the classroom.

Social Media Graphics
A collection of social media graphics made while interning for my high school’s athletic association

Athens Drive High School's Blue Crew
As Blue Crew Leader, I led the student section, building school spirit and increasing attendance at sports games. I also managed social media graphics for the athletic association, ensuring consistency in typography and visual imagery throughout the year. Every post incorporated the school’s blue and orange color scheme, bold lettering, and clear, engaging layouts to make key information easily accessible while maintaining strong visual appeal.
